Novartis Expands Oncology Portfolio with US$1.5 B Acquisition of Myricx

Abstract


In a strategic move to strengthen its oncology portfolio, Novartis has agreed to acquire Myricx for approximately US$1.5 B. The acquisition adds Myricx’s novel NMTi-based antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform and two lead ADC candidates targeting B7-H3 and HER2, expanding Novartis’s next-generation cancer therapy pipeline. The deal enhances the company’s capabilities in targeted oncology, provides access to a differentiated payload technology with potential applications across multiple solid tumours.
