Roche signed a R&D agreement with BioFocus, in which BioFocus will provide Roche with SoftFocus(TM) Kinase-targeted compounds and its expertise in kinase library design. Roche also signed a second deal with ParAllele Bioscience to elucidate the genetic factor to Type II diabetes and thus identify potential medicines and diagnostics.
