Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has move to expand its presence in Russia by agreeing to acquire the OTC company Natur Produkt International for up to US$185 M. Natur Produkt’s key brands include AntiGrippin, a cough and cold remedy, and the Anti Angin, Sage and Eucaplyptus MA sore throat remedies. The company’s total revenue in 2011 was approximately US$65 M and it is expected to deliver double-digit revenue growth in 2012.
