GSK Seeks Growth in Emerging Markets

Abstract


GlaxoSmithKline agreed to acquire Bristol-Myers Squibb’s portfolio of mature products in Egypt in a move that confirms a shift in GSK’s strategy to capitalise on its marketing strength to increase its presence in emerging economies, which includes the Middle East and North African regions.
