Maxamine™/® is the dihydrochloride salt of the naturally occurring molecule histamine. Its usefulness in immunotherapy was fi rst discovered by Maxim Pharmaceuticals’ collaborators at the University of Göteborg from whom, in 1993, Maxim purchased IP and patent rights.
