3M Divests its Pharmaceutical Business

Abstract
3M diversified its pharmaceutical business divisions to Graceway Pharmaceuticals, Meda and equity companies - Ironbridge Capital and Archer Capital. Graceway acquired the North and Latin American business for US$875 M. Meda acquired the European business for US$857 M and the equity companies for a total value of US$349 M. The acquisition deal could worth up to US$2.1 B to 3M.
