GlaxoSmithKline acquired Reliant Pharmaceuticals thus expanding its product portfolio with cardiovascular therapies including Lovaza™ (omega-3-acid methyl esters) for treating adults with very high triglyceride levels. The acquisition deal would worth up US$2.3 B to Reliant.
