Women are generally more aware of health issues and more receptive to treatment than men and as such women’s health represents a promising area for the health care industry. Osteoporosis is a bone disease characterized by the structural deterioration of bone tissue that leads to low bone mass density and enhanced bone fragility and almost 80% of the osteoporosis sufferers are women.
