Pfizer Sells Two of its Generics Units

Abstract
Pfizer entered into two separate agreements to sell its Scandinavian and Italian generics units. Teva Pharmaceuticals acquired Dorom, Pfizer’s Italian generic pharmaceutical marketing company. The acquisition deal could be worth up to US$84.7 M to Pfizer. Merck KGaA acquired NM Pharma, Pfizer’s Scandinavian generics unit from Pfizer. The acquisition deal could be worth up to US$65 M.
