Therapy Focus: Diabetes
Business Review Editor
Abstract
Diabetes is often used synonymously with diabetes mellitus, which is of two types: Type I (insulin-dependent) and Type II (non insulin-dependent). This article focuses on diabetes treatments i.e. about oral antidiabetics (sulphonylureas, biguanides and thiazolidinediones) and insulin. Also discussed are needle free insulin delivery formulations and deals made by pharma players with drug delivery companies to develop the same.
